Did you hit up the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, or NFFTY, in Seattle this weekend? If so, you might've seen a Tag on the front of the Insider’s Guide to the festival. When scanned, the Tag that links users to the trailer for the festival. Nifty, huh?


The festival’s theme this year is “United By Film, Future By NFFTY.” We’re just happy to see that NFFTY’s vision of the future includes Tag. The Seattle PI blog reports, “This year’s festival is projected to have 10,000 attendees, including more than 150 visiting youth filmmakers from across the world as well as film industry executives.” NFFTY has also received nearly double the submissions from last year. Now if only Cannes and Sundance would follow NFFTY’s lead and put some Tags on their promotional materials…
