TV Guide introduced readers to Microsoft Tag in its May 3, 2010, issue. The magazine boasts an audience of more than 15 million, and its first set of Tags offered “fantastic videos, like behind-the-scenes footage of last week’s ‘men of NCIS’ cover.”
The publication contained eight Tags, which linked to “Cubicle Confessions” and photo shoots. After scanning a Tag, readers could watch a YouTube video of “The Men of NCIS.” Or check out a YouTube video of Jesse Williams from “Grey’s Anatomy.”
What do you think of TV Guide using Tag to provide enhanced content on smartphones? Let us know in the comments below or on Tag’s Facebook or Twitter pages.
