
Speaking of conferences and trade shows, using Tags at your booth is the new free-candy-in-a-bowl. They can be an eye-catching way to pique people's curiosity and instantly connect them with your contact info or mobile site. And now there's BoothTag, which uses Tag to make trade show barcode scanning into a game.
With BoothTag, exhibitors sign up online and add their company info, then get a Tag to display at the show. Then at the conference or trade show, attendees get points by scanning Tags at different booths, which they can redeem for prizes. Afterwards, exhibitors can download attendee contact information –"like a digital rolodex," they say.
