The Savannah Stopover music festival used Tags this year to give fans show info.

Indie music lover? Then you might be familiar with the Savannah Stopover Music Festival, where local and touring indie bands play on their way to SXSW. This year, the festival used Tag to connect concert-goers with show times, venues, and song previews on the fly (who has time to dig out a laptop when you're at a music festival?). Local graphic designers teamed up with musicians to create a custom Tag for each band playing, and museums and retailers even got on board, using Tag to offer special discounts.

Check out the video below to see Coolhunting editor Ami Kealoha explain how Tags at the Savannah Stopover connected them with the latest concert info while she was at the festival:

We've written before about bands using Tag to connect fans with free songs, video, and more, but this is the first festival I know of that's used Tag across the board. Pretty spiffy.
