Adding special features to magazine features is a great way to engage readers. India Today recently joined the ranks of publications that are using Microsoft Tag on their pages. The Tags are being placed on a variety of stories in the weekly news magazine including “The Week in Pictures” and to promote the country’s best colleges.
Readers can also scan a Tag and see a collection of stills from the latest Bollywood release as well as get the movie’s review right on their smartphone. Perhaps next time
India Today can include a little Bollywood music with the images.
