A hunting magazine uses Microsoft Tag and creates a hilarious video.

North American Hunter Tag

Stop what you're doing for the next 113 seconds and watch this video by North American Hunter Magazine Executive Director Bill Miller (seriously, trust me!):

Now that is a great example of explaining Tag to readers in a funny, easy-to-grasp way. I am making up an award right now. It's called the Unexpectedly Hilarious Introduction to Tag Award and I'm giving it to YOU, North American Hunter Magazine. The mag is actually part of the North American Membership Group, an independent publisher of club-specific magazines that attract 20 million readers. And all of the group's publications are using Tag this year (we've covered North American Fisherman previously)!

The hunting magazine in particular is using Tag to give readers access to videos and hunting tips that they couldn't fit in the magazine. In addition to the video, there's a full-page letter from the editor explaining why they're using Tag and what to do:

You don't have to have an old rickety outhouse to introduce your readers to Tag in an engaging way. You don't even have to make a video. North American Hunter succeeds because it knows its audience, isn't afraid to poke fun at itself, and uses plain language to present the value prop to readers. (What's that? You want more funny hunter goodness? Check out this video from the magazine too.)

What do you think of this implementation? Are there other ways the magazine could have appealed to its readers?
