With the roller-coaster ride of the Stock Market lately, it is good to see someone putting their money on a sure bet. Personal finance magazine Kiplinger is using the first editorial Tag to drive users to their mobile site.

But you don’t have to be Rich Uncle Pennybags (a.k.a. Mr. Monopoly… a tip of the top hat to Hasbro) to get to the front of the VIP line to receive useful advice and business forecast information after scanning the Tag.

All Tag scanners are brought right to the Kiplinger mobile website, which is rich in features and content. Subscribers can easily log in to their accounts and interested parties can sign up for a ton of free E-Alerts from a drop down link at the top of the mobile site. There is also an easy option to subscribe from the drop down menu, Kiplinger testing the use of Tags to make it even easier for the business executive or the mom-on-the-go to subscribe to the magazine and their other publications.

How would you use Microsoft Tag to promote your mobile site? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook and Twitter.
