Got your mind on your money (and your money on your mind)? You might run across a Tag the next time you get that "Time to renew your subscription" letter from Forbes.
The company is using Tag in a direct mail campaign to drive subscription extensions. Scanning the Tag on the letter takes money-conscious readers to a video of Steve Forbes as well as a mobile site where they can easily pay for another 13 issues.
We've seen Tags in magazines before, connecting readers with contests, giveaways, and bonus content, but as far as I know this is a new way to engage readers and encourage them to continue their long-term commitment.
