Based in India, eventNu has hosted over 11,000 events in just the 2 shorts years since their launch and are the only Indian company to be using Tag.
Event organizers can use eventNu's platform to add Tag to their tickets capturing the registration information of each attendee. Registration staff simply scan the Tag on the ticket to verify each attendee's identity, thereby streamlining the event check-in process.
eventNu was using QR codes for about 6 months, but decided to switch to Tag because of the additional functionality that Tag offers, including the ability to customize Tags. They also liked the security in knowing they were using a trusted product backed by the Microsoft name. The eventNu team is so excited about the Tag technology, they are planning to hold mobile tagging bootcamps to educate fellow Indian marketers about the various ways Tag can be used. "Microsoft Tag is enabling us to bridge the gap between digital and real world event. There are a lot of exciting possibilities and I am glad that we are working with Microsoft to unlock true potential," says eventNu's Ruchit Garg.
In the future eventNu is going to offer additional functionality through Tags leveraging the device ID capabilities. Attendees will be able to associate their mobile device with their registration information; organizers can use this to track event attendance and areas of interest, all from knowing which Tags each attendee scanned. They also plan to incorporate it into their tradeshow offerings, letting organizers build contests or giveaways based on scanning multiple Tags at the event venue.
Scan the eventNu Tag to see how they are integrating it into their event check-in process.
