Readers scan Microsoft Tags to view movie trailers and interactive ads.

Entertainment Weekly's Summer Movie Preview issue, dated April 23, 2010, uses Microsoft Tag to enable readers to view trailers of 16 featured films via their smartphones.


In addition to the movie trailers, five advertisers are also using Tags in their ads: Absolut, HBO, The History Channel, Honda, and CTAM/Movies on Demand.


What a great way for publications to bring their printed content to life – especially the entertainment industry! Film makers could put Tags on their movie posters as well, pointing to trailers, biographies, behind-the-scenes footage, and more.
