Dell Tells Sweet Customer Tales with Tag

How Dell used Microsoft Tag to tell a bakery owner's story.

Mmm, can you smell that? It’s baked goods and technology working together.

 

Dell used Tag in its February 2011 business catalog to connect readers to the story of how it helped bakery owner Warren Brown meet his business's technology needs. (It’s part of Dell’s Take Your Own Path campaign.)

 

Scanning the Tag in the Dell catalog plays a 4-minute video about how Brown left a successful law career to make tasty cake creations at his D.C.-area bakery, CakeLove. Expanding from one location to seven meant Brown had changing technology needs (especially since his point-of-sale system was originally designed for a dry cleaner). Dell helped Brown with everything from data encryption on his laptop to digital signage in his shops – and there's plenty of drool-worthy cake footage in there, too.
