For the first time Microsoft Tag will be going to Colombia, South America. Tags will be a big part of the Caribe Impulsa, an innovation and socio-economic forum being held in Cartegena de Indias on September 5th and 6th.
Microsoft Tags will be placed on badges so attendees can get more information about the venue, the City of Cartagena and the forum topics and speakers. They will also be placed on brochures and convention advertising materials. Italian web agency mediaki.it created the custom Tags for Caribe Impulsa. The team also designed and developed the event’s web and mobile applications.
But Tag will not be confined to the forum. Thanks to a partnership with the Cartagena’s Chamber of Commerce, mediaki.it also created Tags for the city and its historical sights to create a more interactive experience for visitors.
The Tags will be put on removable poles and placed in front of the city’s palaces and buildings during the forum as a pilot project that will lay the foundations for a future, permanent 2D solution for the city. Tag is the perfect tour guide.
What other ways can Tag be used during forums and conventions to make attendees’ lives easier? Let us know with your comments below or on Facebook or Twitter.
