It's vacation season, and Coca-Cola has partnered with airport food-service company HMSHost to launch a summer travel sweepstakes complete with Tags. Not only will scanning Tags on the side of 32-ounce airport Coke cups enter travelers to win a trip to Orlando, Palm Springs, or Chicago, but part of Coke's proceeds will go to hunger relief charity Feeding America.
“While entering for a chance to win a vacation is fun, we also want to use this opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of hunger relief for families in the U.S.,” said Vince Modica, one of HMSHost’s senior VPs, in a press release. “Teaming up with our partner Coca-Cola is a great way to increase support for Feeding America’s programs.”
So if you're passing through one of HMSHost's airport or travel plaza restaurants, mall food courts, or the company’s retail newsstands and convenience stores – HMS Host has a presence in the 20 busiest airports in North America, among others – keep an eye out for the Tagged Coke cups. Scanning one between now and September 15 will take you to a mobile site where you can enter the contest. You can also enter by texting the word "travel" to 733774.
