Together, Lowe’s and Microsoft Tag never stop improving things in the world of mobile. The home improvement giant is the first retailer to use Tag's Scanning SDK, which integrates Tag scanning into its new iPhone application.
Customers shopping at their neighborhood Lowe’s can scan Tags to watch videos featuring experts offering step-by-step instructions and how-to information on all sorts of projects for both inside the home and outside in the yard. Users can get a good dose of DIY inspiration with the app’s Idea Gallery that showcases designer rooms outfitted with the latest looks. If they see something they like, customers can find out more info about the product with a single touch.
The new Lowe’s app makes it easier for users to decide what to buy during a shopping trip thanks to product reviews and ratings, detailed product information and access to video content that can be activated by scanning a Tag. It also includes a store finder with GPS so no matter where users are they can get driving directions to the closest location.
