This week we shared a whole slew of stories related to the publishing industry. Looking back, I think the biggest takeaway was that print can really extend their engagement and reach by investing in a mobile presence. Media brands like Sports Illustrated and Conde Naste seem to be ahead of the curve in terms of the experiences they are building, so be on the lookout for some exciting things to come from print in the future.
Last Week’s Highlights
This week offered a great opportunity for our team to address some misnomers about our product. Maybe more importantly it allowed us to give some perspective on how 2D barcodes fit into one of the hottest topics in the mobile marketing world: location-based marketing.

JayCee Botha, Purchase from Print
If you haven’t gotten to know JayCee Botha and his work using Tag by now, let me sum him up for you in one word: awesome. JayCee is continually coming up with implementations that are innovative, but remain practical. This week he shared a scan to purchase pamphlet that uses some of Tag’s advanced features including Real Time Location, Device ID and PayPal integration. Keep it coming, JayCee!
