The magazine, Back Stage has put Microsoft Tag to good use in their latest issue creating a more interactive, digital element to their print media.

The scanned Tags resolve to various content related websites.  For example, one of their Tags directs the reader to a webpage URL and displays the relevant Tag that will send their smart phone to that same page.  For readers who are not within easy reach of their computer, Tag provides easy access to a wealth of information that simply wouldn’t fit in print media format.  Back Stage is now moving on from just written media and will start incorporating videos into their Tag links as well.

In a brief letter to their readers, Back Stage’s Editor-In-Chief introduced Microsoft Tag, described how readers can best use the Tags embedded in the content of the magazine, and expressed the desire to offer readers an informative and convenient addition to the reading experience. Tag has been so well received by Back Stage that several more issues of the magazine will include Tags to provide their readers with a this unique blend of print and digital media.
