The latest viral video to sweep the Internet is a hilarious rap about the trials and tribulations of shopping at Whole Foods.  Good thing Microsoft Tag is making grocery shopping so much easier for the stressed shopper. Whole Foods is using Microsoft Tag on various signage for in-store created food items. Smartphone users can then scan the Tag to be taken to a mobile website for the recipe and nutritional information.

Want to get ideas for dinner and know what you will be shopping for before you go to the store? Whole Foods is also using Tags on bus advertisements with delectable photos of what’s for dinner tonight. By scanning the Tag, hungry and harried commuters are taken to a mobile website where they can then add the recipe ingredients to their shopping list. Now that is keeping it real.

What are other ways you would like to use Microsoft Tag at your local grocery store? Online coupons? Info on in-store demos and events? Let us know at our Facebook page and Twitter!
